Welcome to Patient Information
The London NHS Diagnostic Service has been introduced to help your GP speed up the referral process, ensuring you receive your scan or test, if you need it, as quickly as possible. There are currently 38 testing sites throughout London.
Once your GP refers you to the London NHS Diagnostic Service, you will receive a call within 3 working days from the Patient Referral Centre to arrange a time and venue for your appointment from a choice of sites. A letter will then be sent to you confirming the time of your appointment and directions to the venue. An information leaflet about your test or scan will also be included. Your results will be sent directly to your GP, 2 working days after your appointment.
